What therapy looks like at Cavier Therapy
Sessions are 45 to 60 minutes and held virtually for clients located in New York State at the time of session. Frequency depends on your assessment and goals. Many clients start with weekly sessions. Some prefer bi-weekly sessions, and others shift into every-other-week maintenance sessions over time.
Therapy is collaborative and tailored. You can expect a space that is affirming, non-judgmental, and focused on helping you move forward with clarity.
A culturally responsive, evidence-informed approach
Cassie integrates evidence-informed methods based on your needs, which may include Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples.
Insurance and private pay
Cavier Therapy accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Aetna, and most Medicaid plans. To see the full list of accepted insurance providers, please see the FAQs. Sliding scale options may be available for private pay. Insurance billing is processed through Headway. Copays and deductibles may apply depending on your plan.
